Rudolf Anson Greenleaf, 67 of Hobart passed away Monday, October 3, 2022.  He was born in Anchorage, Alaska to the late Albert and Antoinette (Dinovo) Greenleaf.  Rudolf made his career as a mill wright at Inland Steel.  If you were lucky enough to know him, you would remember Rudolf as being a bit of a smartass, who loved roasting people, and a lady’s man.  He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and was a sports fanatic.  Rudolf was proud of his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.  “Dear Gramps, I know you might not read this, but I want you to know this: one more hug is all I want, one more I love you, one more day in the home with you, one more day of watching cartoons, one more can of green beans, and one more pot of buttered noodles.”
On April 7, 1978 Rudolf married Christine Krause who preceded him in death in 2020.  He is survived by his children, Justin (Randon) Greenleaf and Tiffany Greenleaf, both of Hobart; grandchildren, Justice, Austin, Searra, Ayreanna, Skyla, Anson, Novia, and Shai Low; and siblings, Thor Greenleaf, Wanda Roberts, and Eric Greenleaf.
Following cremation at Angelcrest Crematory a private family ceremony will be held.
