Ruth Marie White, 101 of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024. She was born January 9, 1923 in Ida, Michigan to the late Henry and Elizabeth (Feckler) Miller. An avid poker player, Ruth also enjoyed gardening, hunting, playing euchre, and traveling with family.
On December 22, 1942 in Bowling Green, OH, Ruth married Archie “Zeb” White who preceded her in death on April 2, 2008. She is survived by her grandson, Joe Passauer; great grandson, Grant Passauer; niece and caregiver, Nancy Cannon; and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was also preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Bruce Passauer.
A committal service will be held directly at the Graceland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, Valparaiso on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Dunes Hospice.
