Santina Lee Keilman, 75 of Wheatfield, IN, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. She was born March 14, 1949, in Chicago, IL to Samuel and Mary Sue (Caylor) Gabriele. Tina graduated from Crown Point High School in 1968, and Ivy Tech Community College with a degree in Nursing. She made her career as a Registered Nurse at various nursing homes in Northwest Indiana. Tina was an avid reader of fiction novels and an exquisite quilter. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, especially their trips to Paris, Arizona, and Colorado. Tina looked forward to celebrating Christmas with the family every year as well. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
On March 17, 1969, Santina married the love of her life, Urban Keilman, her husband of 55 years, who survives, along with their sons: Urban Jason (Jessica) Keilman of Wheatfield, and Stacy (Robyn) Keilman of Crown Point; grandchildren: Urban Nicholas (Tara) Keilman, Savannah, Keilman, Karly Ann Keilman, Isabelle Keilman, Brody Keilman, Brandy Keilman, Anthony Keilman, Summer Keilman, and Mallory Keilman; great-grandchildren: Urban Zakary Keilman, Serenity Santina Keilman, and Agustin Garcia; sisters: Bonnie Stout and Toni Haluska; and nephews and niece: David Ahrens, Danny Ahrens, Dennis Ahrens, Damien Ahrens, Douglas Hester Jr., Dwayne Hester, Gregory Sully, Dakota Nunnelee, and Michelle Haluska. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Zakary Keilman; brother, Jim Nunnelee; and sister, Penny Sully.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso, IN. Tina’s family would lovingly accept flowers or donations to the COPD Foundation.
