Shane Harry Gonzales, 23 of Valparaiso passed away Monday, March 18, 2024. He was born June 16, 2000 in LaPorte, IN the son of Frank and Kelley (Regan) Gonzales. Shane was currently working as a cement finisher and loved dogs, riding dirt bikes, and fishing. His sweet and kind personality and love for family is what he will be most remembered for, and he will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Shane is survived by his mother, Kelley Gonzales; father, Frank Gonzales; sister, Shannon Gonzales; grandparents, Harry Gonzales, Barbara Jones, Charlie Jones, Sandra Regan and Larry Regan, Chris Regan; aunts and uncles, Lisa Kuypers, John Gonzales, Michael Jones, Casey Jones, Nina Regan, and Iliana Regan; Cousin, Hank Jr. Kuypers and many loving cousins, extended family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Harry Gonzales and Charlie Jones; and aunt, Elizabeth Regan.
Visitation will be Monday, April 1, 2024 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 2nd at 10:00 AM directly at St. Paul Catholic Church 1855 Harrison Blvd., Valparaiso. Cremation will take place with a private burial of ashes at Angelcrest Cemetery, Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
