Sharon Ann Roberts, 87 of Kouts, IN, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026. She was born August 22, 1938, in LaPorte, IN, to Albin and Sophia (Wysocki) Satkoski. Sharon graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She worked as a teacher in the local schools for many years. Sharon was a talented musician who played several instruments, including the organ and piano. Before marriage, she even sang semi-professionally. Sharon was also an artist who enjoyed painting, sewing, and knitting lap blankets. Alongside her husband, Marvin, Sharon enjoyed traveling to Colorado to visit Estes Park, and attending Notre Dame football games. She also loved being outside enjoying the sunshine on her patio, and walking with her dogs. She was a very devoted member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Kouts and appreciated attending mass when she was able.
On June 24, 1964, Sharon married Marvin E. Roberts, who preceded her in death in 2015. She is survived by their daughter, Susan (David) Muszynski of Waterloo, IL. Sharon was also preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Gerald Satkoski; and brother, Richard Satkoski.
A committal service will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. inside the mausoleum chapel at Angelcrest Cemetery, 180 E. 600 N., Valparaiso, IN 46383. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, P.O. Box 663, Kouts, IN 46347-0663.
