GUESTBOOK

My dear, dear friend. I will miss you so much, as will all your dear friends you have made throughout your wonderful life. You now get to be with your brother, sisters, Dale and Jeff. Prayers for Kim and Tom. -Nancy C Brown

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, grandmother. My husband, Larry and I lived in Lebanon, Indiana and met Dale and Sharon in Apache Junction on vacation The first day we arrived in AJ, she came to our condo and welcomed us explaining that she had lived in Lebanon and had relatives still there. We formed a close friendship with her and Dale from that time forward. The second year we were together and talking more about her time living in Lebanon and discovered that we had gone to the same elementary school for kindergarten but her family had moved to Valpo during the middle of that school year. As we talked she said her kids had always laughed about her kindergarten class picture as she was sitting up front with her legs crossed and looking very prim and proper. When she said that, I replied that there was a girl sitting like that in my kindergarten picture and I didn't know who she was. Come to find out, it was Sharon! From that day forward we referred to each other as "kinderpals". We visited with Sharon and Dale several times back in Indiana both in Lebanon and Valpo and stayed in touch over the years. My husband also developed Parkinson's and we would share information about treatments and exercise programs including Rock Steady Boxing which he participated in until he passed in December 2021. Sharon was a very special person and I am so glad that we were able to reconnect and form a lasting friendship! -Kay Walker

Kim, I am so very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I still remember her at the stove 33 yrs ago at thanksgiving making her favorite oyster dressing. I know it’s been a difficult year but with God’s grace you and your family will find peace knowing she and Jeff are with your dad now inside the pearly gates. Prayers and thoughts for you all. -Aunt Virginia Gott
