Stephen F. Lesicko, Jr., 80 of Kouts, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024. He was born August 31, 1943, in Gary, IN to the late Stephen F. Lesicko, Sr. and Lyda (Jordan) Lesicko. Steve made his career in the Shipping Department with Bethlehem Steel for many years, before retiring from Columbia Aluminum in 2002. Steve acquired Polio at the age of 3 and suffered with the ramifications of the disease throughout his life, but through it all he remained strong. He enjoyed being a member of the Valparaiso Corvette Club, and will be remembered as a wonderful father. Steve will be dearly missed.
On April 26, 1975, in Hobart, Steve married Mary (Good) DeWitt, who survives, along with children: William (Dorene) DeWitt of Granger and Nancy (Jim) DeWitt Adomitis of Valparaiso; grandchildren: Jason, Heather, and Christopher; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard DeWitt; and granddaughter, Jennifer Poole.
A private burial will take place at Hopewell Mennonite Cemetery, Kouts.
