Sue C. Beach-Holm, 74 of Valparaiso, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023. She was born on April 15, 1948 in Chicago, IL to the late Sture C. and Caroline E. (Mosher) Holm. She graduated from Crown Point High School and obtained her bachelors degree from Indiana University and masters degree from Valparaiso University. Being a teacher was one of Sue’s passions, making her career with Valparaiso Community Schools at Northview Elementary. She was a member of Psi Iota Xi, Porter County Historical Society, and Valparaiso Dolls and Friends. She loved sewing and even had her own business, The Sewing Studio for many years. She will be remembered for her bright smile, selfless heart, and dedication to her students and the community. She will be dearly missed.
