Susan Ann “Susie” Kelley, 68 of Valparaiso, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. She was born on September 20, 1956 in Blue Island, Illinois to George and Marilyn (Proper) Kelley. Susie is survived by her sons, Michael (Allison) Urbanczyk, Jr. and Matthew Urbanczyk; grandchildren, Jack and Paige; brother-in-law, Steve McDonell; and nieces, Katie Ann and Drew Marie McDonell. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Karen McDonell.
Susie's laughter was as unique as it was contagious. It brightened the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a devoted grandmother, an artist with a creative spirit, and a world traveler. Susie’s love for life, her humor, her kindness, and her warmth will leave a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 PM, with Prayers at 6:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd. Valparaiso. A private burial will follow at the Floral Section of Angelcrest Cemetery in Valparaiso. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any charity.
Susie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. May her memory be eternal. We treasure the many beautiful moments and experiences she shared with those who loved her.
