Tandy Wayne Ray, Sr., 84 of DeMotte, Indiana, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024. He was born August 22, 1940, in Missouri. Tandy made his career as a Pipefitter with BP/Amoco for over 25 years. He lived in Casper, Wyoming for 10 years, and had a good time going elk hunting there with his friend, Richard Haynes. He enjoyed visiting Missouri and going to the Lake with his wife, where they would go camping and boating. Tandy and Harva also liked to go camping with their friends, Rick and Cindy Wiltuz. Tandy was a hardworking man, who took good care of his property. He will be remembered for his frugal spending habits and his stubborn personality.
Tandy is survived by his steps-son, Lawrence Kelly Porter; and close friends: Richard and Janet Haynes, Rick and Cindy Wiltuz, and Larry and Gloria White. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harva Ray; son, Tandy Wayne Ray, Jr.; and parents.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, IN, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Angelcrest Cemetery.
