Thomas Charles Lamberson, 57 of Valparaiso, IN, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024. He was born June 10, 1966, in Valparaiso to Finis and Nancy (Oelling) Lamberson. Tom graduated from Valparaiso Technical Institute with a degree in Electrical Engineering, and made his career with Worthington Steel as an Electrical Engineer for over 30 years. He was also a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Tom enjoyed bird watching, playing guitar, riding his motorcycle, working on cars, vacationing with friends, and spending time with his family. He was a jokester, with a wonderful sense of humor, who loved to make others laugh. His daughters were his top priority in life and Tom was always there to support them in all of their activities and life endeavors. Tom will be remembered for his outgoing personality and giving nature. Above all, Tom was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother who will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed every day.
On July 13, 1991, in Valparaiso, Tom married the love of his life, Janie Pyle, who survives, along with their daughters: Allie Lamberson and Emily Lamberson; his mother, Nancy Jorgensen; siblings: Chris Lamberson, Caren (Jason) Greene, and Michelle (Eddie) Carder; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Finis Lamberson; sister, Wendy Worley; and grandparents.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso. The funeral service will begin on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Tom’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Janie and kids, I am so sorry for the loss of Tom. I was so excited to see him this past November when I came into town and we went to lunch. He and I had a very good past. We were always there for each other from the electrical part of new construction at your house to building the deck. Tom always returned the favor helping me out at my house.
