Timothy A. Wratten, 66, of Valparaiso passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 26, 2022. He was born April 10, 1956 to become the son of Fred & Grace (Scott) Wratten. Tim graduated from Chesterton High School in 1975 then served proudly with the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Lasalle. His career at the Walgreen’s Distribution Center spanned over 25 years. Tim enjoyed membership at the Eagles Lodge in Valparaiso, golfing, and fishing for any species of fish in any body of water. Following the success of his son’s football coaching career at Alcorn State brought a particular joy in recent years.
On September 22, 1984 he married Helen Sreckovich who survives along with their son, Elliott (Cassie) Wratten of Port Gibson, Mississippi, two grandsons, Cooper & Carter Wratten, and his brother, Christopher (Paula) Wratten of Chesterton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held Tuesday from 3 – 7 pm at Moeller Funeral Home, Valparaiso. The funeral service will be held Wednesday beginning at 10:30 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Angelcrest Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Eagles Lodge of Valparaiso
