Tina Lynn Hardesty, 57, of Westville passed away Monday, July 3, 2023, at Advocate Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois. She was born May 20, 1966, in Valparaiso to Billie & Jean (Cole) Davis and graduated from Chesterton High School. Tina loved nothing more than taking care of her family, mission accomplished!  Once she knew that all her human family members had been taken care of it was time to give the same level of devotion to the birds, dogs, cats, fish, and any other furry, feathered or scaled creature that she had embraced.  Along the way she also found time to tend her garden and enjoy the great outdoors with all of God’s wonderful creations.
On May 19, 2006, she married Joshua Hardesty who survives along with her daughter, Hannah Raye (fiancé – Zackary Kerkes) of LaPorte, their daughter, Maile Hardesty of Westville, her mother, Jean Dickey (Guy Dickey) of Chesterton, sister, Teresa Davis (Ricky Wakefield) of Whitehall, Michigan, mother-in-law, Pam Hardesty of Valparaiso, sister-in-law, Rachel Underwood (Tom) of Valparaiso, and many more loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Billie Davis.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5th   from 12 noon – 1:00 pm at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church,234 W.  Division Rd., Valparaiso with funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm, Rev. William Foy officiating with burial to follow at Chesterton Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the church.
