Veronica Lynn Alumbaugh, 63 of Westville, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born April 17, 1961 in Valparaiso to Robert and Jean (Miller) Huber.  A member of Cross Pointe Church, Veronica was a Sunday School teacher and a volunteer at the Westville United Methodist Church Resale Shop.  She enjoyed puzzles, playing games and cards, and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
On August 18, 1979, Veronica married Larry Alumbaugh who survives along with her mother, Jean Huber; children, Jolene (Dan) Karch, Julie Alumbaugh, Jennifer (Richard) Conn, John (Hillary) Alumbaugh; grandchildren, Dillon Davis, Trey and Riley Karch, Holly Alumbaugh, and Braden and Alayna Conn; great granddaughter, Charlette Slont; and 1 brother and 4 sisters.  She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Huber.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM at the Wanatah American Legion Post 403, 203 S. Washington St., Wanatah 46390.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
