Yordanka “Yoca” Bakrevski, 95 of Valparaiso passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024.  She was born July 5, 1929 in Rotono, Macedonia to the late Trajan and Flornika Steriovski.  Yoca made her career as a seamstress, working for 24 years at Athur Winer.  She was a member of  Sts. Peter and Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral and was known as a great cook and homemaker.  Yoca’s pride and joy were all of her grandchildren.
Yoca is survived by her sons, Blagoja “Bill” Bakrevski of Los Angeles, CA and Lupcho “Louie” (Piper) Bakrevski of Valparaiso; grandchildren, Bryan, Erik, Kristina, and Michael Bakrevski; great grandchildren, James, Riley, and Aleksander Bakrevski; a great-great granddaughter, Ophelia Bakrevski; and many nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vangel Bakrevski and siblings, Cena Steriovski and Zivko “Jimmy” Steriovski.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso, with a Funeral Service on Wednesday at 11:00 AM.  Family burial service will follow at Angelcrest Cemetery, Valparaiso.
