Ann Rose Raderstorf, 77, beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, passed away Sunday morning, January 12, 2025. She was born to Ignatius and Stella (Grzybek) Niemiec in Chicago, Illinois on April 7, 1947. Rose grew up in Wheatfield, Indiana and currently resided in Westville, Indiana.
On May 16, 1970, Rose married the love of her life and devoted husband of 54 years, Harry E. Raderstorf, of LaCrosse, Indiana. Together they had two daughters Julie Jackson and Janice Luken (Paul) all of Valparaiso. Grandchildren Casey Bough (Jacob) of Hebron, Nicole Luken, Jaycee Jackson & Samantha Luken all of Valparaiso. In addition to her children, Rose is survived by her two Sisters Mary Drehobl (Thomas Sr.) of Lindenhurst IL, and Barbara Medler (Gene) of Farmland, IN. Rose loved her family more than anything. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Otis. Rose really enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, Chinese food and making trips to casinos. Most of all, she loved the time she got to spend with her family and friends.
A visitation will be held Saturday, January 18th from 10 – 11 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Otis, Indiana with funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 am, Fr. John Zemelko officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Rd., Lilburn, GA 30047.
