GUESTBOOK

Karen and Richard, your mom was a true trail blazer! Women weren't in that position and she was in charge! More so, she was a friend. She talked endlessly about her three children and how proud she was of them and her grandchildren. What a lady! Fun, intelligent and always there for her friends. Many blessings to all of us who knew her She is up there running the WS pool! Love ya, Janet! -Michelle Manoski

My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. I worked at the county with Jan and I must say everyone thought highly of her. Her family meant the most to her and she spoke about them all the time. I'm sure she was missed by all when she retired! She was a hard person to replace both personality wise and professionally with all her knowledge. Keep all your memories close to your heart ..... my memories of her are all good. -Kathleen Benich

I just found out about Janet’s passing . I hadn’t recieved my annual Christmas card or acknowledgement of her birthday card. So I decided to check the obituaries . I went to Bridgeville High School with Janet and we graduated together. We were very close friends. She ate meals at our house and always thought we passed the salt too much.. She was a bridesmaid in our wedding 67 years ago. She kept me informed about her children and their health, tragedies and successes. She was a strong person. She was a single parent to their children after Bob’s death. She was dedicated to them. I really don’t know what to say except she was a very personable and vivacious lady! I was shocked to hear of her passing. I thought she would live to be as old as her mother which was years old!
My belated condolences to her family. -Ruth Hilty Schneeman, North Carolina
