Kenneth Edward Pfledderer, 87, of LaCrosse, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, at the VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso.  He was born April 18, 1937, in Brems, Indiana to Edward & Orpha (nee Pratt) Pfledderer, graduated from LaCrosse High School and served proudly with the U.S. Army near Munich, Germany as part of the occupying forces. Ken made his career as a Tool Finisher at the Ford stamping plant in Chicago Heights, Illinois for 47 years and was a longtime member of Shiloh Assembly of God Church in San Pierre where he had served many years as their treasurer. He married Karen Stonecipher who survives along with their children: Kevin (Debbie) Pfledderer of Alabama, Kari (David) LaFaive of Plymouth, Indiana, Kurtis Pfledderer of Oregon, Kristina Ritchie of LaCrosse, Dina Brown of Wanatah, siblings: Barbara Wilson, Betty Brady & Jerry Pfledderer, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. GUESTBOOK

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Our hearts go out to the whole family. We will continue to pray for all of you during this very difficult time. -Scott and Karen Whitaker

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Ken was always a gracious and welcoming man. I will remember the short but amazing time that was spent with him and Karen. For that time, they made me feel a part of their family. He was definitely the strong but silent type. Karen, I wish you peace that Ken is no longer suffering and strength for you to continue your journey until you meet him again in Heaven. Kevin, Kari, Kurt, Kristina, Kandace and Kendall I am sorry for your loss and each of you will be in my prayers -Suzy Turner

A death is a loss that our Heavenly Father never wanted us to face but because of sin we must suffer it. Our Heavenly Father grieves with us and knows first hand the pain and sorrow we experience because He Himself was separated from His Own Son to redeem us from that sin. As we deny ourselves, take up our own crosses, and follow our Saviour, Jesus Christ, we come to know that the only true Life is one that exists in Christ Jesus - a Life that never ends. Blessed is the man that walks in all of God's ways for when he has been approved (by God) he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. May our Heavenly Father bless and comfort all that share the loss of this dear loved one today as they call upon the Name of the Lord. -Joanne Privett
